Ban appeal

A ban is permanent. The only way to reverse it is an accepted appeal.

How it works

We ban accounts that violate the Terms of Use or the API Terms: abusive use of the API, using Paper as a database or file hosting, spam, published links with illegal content, attempts to break into or take down the service.
When we ban, access is cut off right away: login, tokens, published links and the Google connection stored on the server.
Your personal notes stay with you: in your browser and in your Google Drive, as .md files. A ban doesn't delete any of that.
A person reads every appeal. We reply through the contact you leave, within 15 days. One appeal per case.
